Salman Khan to NOT make cameo as Chulbul Pandey in Ajay Devgn's Singham Again? Here's what we know

Rohit Shetty is all set for the release of his upcoming cop universe film, Singham Again. Featuring a stellar cast of Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, and Jackie Shroff, the film will hit theaters on November 1. Earlier a report mentioned that Salman Khan will be seen in a special role as Chulbul Pandey in the film. However, the latest report suggests that the cameo might be dropped from the film.
Salman Khan's Chulbul Pandey might not appear in Singham Again
A source told Bollywood Hungama that Bajirao Singham and Chulbul Pandey's epic crossover Singham Again might disappoint as destiny has robbed the biggest moment. While Salman Khan was all set to shoot for his Singham Again cameo on Monday, October 14, 2024, the shoot was canceled owing to the demise of Baba Siddique.
The report stated, "The one-day shoot was scheduled to take place at Golden Tobacco in Mumbai, however, owing to the sudden demise of Baba Siddiqui, the shoot was canceled. Rohit and Ajay then had discussions internally and felt that it would be insensitive to request Salman Khan to shoot amid all the controversy. The duo was racing against time to submit their film to the censors, and have decided to submit the film without the appearance of Salman Khan."
The source also added that there is a possibility of a backshot of Chulbul Pandey in the post-credits scene, but whether the idea will make it into the final shot or not, is still a big question.
"Shooting with Salman, just a day or two after the death of Baba Siddiqui was insensitive. And Rohit had to submit Singham Again to the censors by Friday - October 18. That's when they took the tough call to move on and respect the privacy of Salman Khan," the source told the portal.
According to an earlier report of Pinkvilla, Salman agreed to do the cameo in Singham Again out of his love of Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty.

The trailer shows Ajay and Kareena narrating the story of Ramayana to their son. While Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, and Ranveer Singh make a comeback as Bajirao Singham, Veer Sooryavanshi, and Simmba, respectively, in the trailer, we also get a glimpse of the two new characters in Rohit Shetty's cop universe: Deepika Padukone as cop Shakti Shetty and Tiger Shroff as ACP Satya. All the characters fight against the evil Arjun Kapoor.
Meanwhile, for the unversed, Singham Again is the third installment in the cop universe created by Rohit Shetty and a sequel to Singham Returns (2014). The film will hit theaters on November 1.
