Salman Khan's docu-series headed for OTT release

Bollywood actor Salman Khan undoubtedly has an unparalleled stardom extending to the remotest places of India. His 33-year long journey in the industry had ups and downs but he received immense love from his fans nonetheless. Pinkvilla has reported that a docu-series on the superstar is in the making for an OTT giant. The same would be bankrolled by SKF Films with Wiz Films and Applause Entertainment.

The theme of the docu-series will be about Salman Khan’s journey on how he became the megastar that he is now. It will talk about the lesser-known facts of the star.

All the important people in the actor’s life, including his family and co-stars, will be a part of the docu-series. The initial production of this show has already begun, a source close to development revealed.

A documentary is being made on Salman’s father, the celebrated writer Salim Khan and his partnership with Javed Akhtar too. Farhan and Zoya Akhtar along with Salman are conceptualising the Salim-Javed story. The same will be streamed on Netflix.

Presently, Salman is shooting for Tiger 3 with Katrina Kaif in Austria. Post that, he will move on to the Sajid Nadiadwala production, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali.

He is also in advanced conversations with Rajkumar Gupta for the Ravindra Kaushik biopic. The actor is also in talks with Anees Bazmee for an out-and-out comedy. He has extended cameos in the Shah Rukh Khan- Deepika Padukone thriller Pathan and the Chiranjeevi starrer flick Godfather as well.
