Salman Khan to play dual roles in Sikandar - 10,000 pistols ordered to shoot grand action sequence?

According to a recent report, 10,000 bullets and pistols were ordered to shoot the grand action sequence of Salman Khan starrer Sikandar.

Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Sikandar is one of the most anticipated films of 2025. The film has been garnering a lot of attention ever since it was announced. Fans eagerly wait to get new updates regarding the shooting of the film. Now comes the latest report which mentioned that Salman will be seen playing a dual role. Apart from this, 10,000 pistols were ordered to shoot the action sequence.

New updates about Sikandar

As per a Dainik Bhaskar report, Salman Khan is set to play a dual role in AR Murugadoss' Sikandar. He is a businessman in the film. While his character is shown as a philanthropist and kind-hearted person, he was also a ‘Dabangg’ in the past. This is why, Khan's character lives a dual life with the titular character as one of them.

The report also suggested that the team is gearing up to shoot another grand action sequence on August 22 and for this, 10,000 bullets and pistols were ordered. As per a report by Mid-Day, it will be a 40-day shooting schedule.

Reports suggest that the filmmaker is aiming to entertain the audience with a movie packed with action sequences. However, they will show the lead actor as a kind-hearted person. In the first schedule, the Tiger 3 actor shot a fight scene with the villain's son on a private chartered plane.

Details of second schedule of Sikandar

Mid-Day reported that the second shooting schedule might have commenced in August. It also mentioned that Murugadoss’ team has planned the schedule such that through the rains, the set will be constructed.

The source further told the publication that the team will regroup in mid-August to shoot some action scenes and crowd-heavy sequences at the location.

Salman Khan announces Sikandar

On April 11, 2024, Salman Khan took to his Instagram handle and announced that Sikandar will be released in Eid 2025. Sharing the poster of the film, Bhaijaan penned, “Iss Eid ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ aur ‘Maidaan’ ko dekho aur agli Eid Sikandar se aa kar milo…. Wish u all Eid Mubarak! #SajidNadiadwala Presents #Sikandar Directed by @a.r.murugadoss @nadiadwalagrandson @wardakhannadiadwala #SikandarEid2025.”

Taking to the comment section, fans expressed their happiness and excitement as they could not wait for the movie to release.
