Salman Khan steps out to vote in Maharashtra elections amid death threats; arrives with heavy security | PICS

As the Maharashtra Assembly elections 2024 are taking place today, November 20, Bollywood actor Salman Khan was seen stepping out in Mumbai to cast his vote.

The Maharashtra Assembly electrions 2024 are ongoing today, November 20, 2024. While every citizen is making sure to cast their vote, Bollywood actor Salman Khan also stepped out in Mumbai to fulfill his duty. As everyone is well aware the Bollywood superstar is currently under heavy security due to the death threats by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, the actor arrived at the polling booth with tight security.

Salman Khan casts vote amid tight security in Mumbai

Multiple photos and videos of Salman Khan are doing rounds on the internet as the actor stepped out in Mumbai to cast his vote. In the videos and pictures, we can see the actor being surrounded by heavy security. Khan cast his vote at Mount Mary Convent High School in Bandra West. He was seen wearing a grey T-shirt and a pair of denims. He completed his look with a black cap.

Meanwhile, several Bollywood celebrities including Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Madhuri Dixit, Hema Malini, Dharmendra, Raveena Tandon, Govinda, Paresh Rawal, Shraddha Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan, Rakul Preet Singh, Kiara Advani, and many others were spotted at the polling stations to cast their vote.

For the uninitiated, Salman Khan received a threat earlier this month which demanded Rs 5 crores from him. The message was sent to the traffic control room that claimed, "Lawrence Bishnoi's brother is speaking, and if Salman Khan wants to stay alive, he should go to our temple and apologise or give ₹ 5 crore. If he does not do so, we will kill him; our gang is still active."

On the professional front, Salman recently appeared in Rohit Shetty's Singham Again for a special cameo appearance. He will be next seen in AR murugadoss' Sikandar. The film also stars Rashmika Mandana and is bankrolled by Sajid Nadiadwala's banner, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.
