After receiving a threat via email at the star Salman Khan's Mumbai office, the Mumbai Police have filed a FIR against gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi, Goldy Brar, and another person, an official said.
The sender of the e-mail, written in Hindi, said: "Goldy Bhai (Goldy Brar) wanted to talk with Salman Khan face to face to close the matter", adding, "Agli baar, jhatka dekhne ko milega (You'll see something shocking)"
The First Information Report, which was filed on Saturday, also identifies one Rohit in addition to Bishnoi and Brar, the official stated on Sunday. Bishnoi, who is now detained in Bathinda jail, and Goldy Brar are charged with murder in connection with Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.
Prashant Gunjalkar, who operates an artist management company and, according to the police, routinely visits Khan's apartment in Bandra, filed the complaint with the Bandra Police.
On Saturday afternoon, Gunjalkar noticed an email had arrived from the ID "Rohit Garg" while he was present at Khan's office in the Galaxy Apartment, the officer claimed, referencing the FIR.
The e-mail stated Salman Khan must have seen the interview given recently to a news channel by Lawrence Bishnoi, and if not, he should see it. 'There is still time, but agli bar, jhatka dekhne ko milega', it added, addressing Gunjalkar, adding that if Khan wants to end the situation, he should speak with Goldy bhai in person.
Sections 120-B (punishment for criminal conspiracy), 506-II (punishment for criminal intimidation), and 34 (common intention) of the Indian Criminal Code were used to initiate the FIR.
Notably, in June 2022, an unidentified person had threatened Salman Khan via a handwritten note.
