The Kiran Rao directed film Laapataa Ladies has been making news for all the right reasons. Ever since the time it was announced, there have been many news articles about the film. One of the highlights of the film happens to be the fact that it has been directed by Kiran Rao. The film has been getting immense appreciation from many (common man as well as the celebrities) post its release.
One such celebrity is superstar Salman Khan, who took to social media not just to praise the film Laapataa Ladies, but also to praise the work of its director Kiran Rao. But, did you know that, no sooner had he posted the said tweet, he got trolled and then, he eventually had to delete it and post a fresh one! Read on to find out what exactly had happened.
So, after seeing the film Laapata Ladies, Salman took to Twitter and wrote, “Just saw Kiran Rao’s Laapataa Ladies. Wah wah Kiran. I really enjoyed it n so did my father. Congrats on your debut as a director, superb job. Kab kaam karogi mere saath?”
Little did he realise that the film Laapataa Ladies was not the debut film of Kiran Rao. For the unversed, it was Dhobi Ghat, which was her debut film as a director. In no time, Salman Khan got trolled by the razor-sharp netizens, who wasted no time in pointing out his errors.
That’s when, Salman Khan, on his part, quickly went onto delete the said post and posted a fresh one. In the new post, Salman Khan wrote, Just saw Kiran Rao’s Laapataa Ladies. Wah wah Kiran. I really enjoyed it n so did my father. superb job. Kab kaam karogi mere saath?”
As for the film Laapataa Ladies, it stars Nitanshi Goel, Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Shrivastava, Chhaya Kadam and Ravi Kishan in the leading roles. While the film, has been written by Biplab Goswami, Sneha Desai and Divyanidhi Sharma, it has been produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao and Jyoti Deshpande.
