Here's all the information that you need about the Tiger 3 actor's latest acquisition, a white-coloured bulletproof Nissan Patrol SUV
We reported earlier this month that Shah Rukh Khan treated himself to a Rolls-Royce Cullinan Black Badge that costs over Rs 10 crore to celebrate the massive success of Pathaan. Now, his contemporary Salman Khan, in whose Tiger 3 SRK will be doing a cameo, has also bought fancy new wheels, but for completely different reasons.
Salman recently got possession of a brand-new white-coloured bulletproof Nissan Patrol SUV, in which he was spotted travelling on the roads of Mumbai along with his entourage.
This car is internationally regarded as the best when it comes to bulletproofing.
This was the car that Salman chose when he attended the star-studded grand opening of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) a few days ago. He was accompanied by his personal security and a police escort.
Salman's new acquisition is said to be a result of the death threats he received from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his aides.
Bishnoi, who belongs to a community that considers blackbucks sacred, issued the threat to Salman with regard to his blackbuck poaching case during the shooting of Hum Saath Saath Hain in 1998.
It is worth noting that the Nissan Patrol SUV is not sold in India but is popular in the Middle East and Southeast Asian countries. Therefore, it is believed that Salman has imported the car.
Although it hasn't been revealed how much the actor paid for the car, it is expected to be a hefty sum, considering that a non-bulletproof privately imported car costs around Rs 2 crore.
Some other cars in Salman's garage include a bulletproof Toyota Land Cruiser, a Land Rover Range Rover Autobiography, and an Audi RS7 Sportback.
A bike enthusiast, he also owns superbikes like the Suzuki Hayabusa and a Suzuki Intruder M1800R.
