Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala are gearing up for their seventh collaboration, which is set to be the Farhad Samji directorial titled Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. The film marks their reunion after working together in Jeet, Judwaa, Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Jaan-E-Mann and Kick. Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali is one of the much-anticipated comedies with emotions and drama.

The film is expected to begin shooting in Mumbai in mid-March, and as per reports in Pinkvilla, Salman and Sajid have established a release date for the film. According to their sources, the film will be released during the Eid weekend of 2023.

Speaking about the same, a source told the entertainment portal that Kick Salman and Sajid's last collaboration, was also an Eid release and proved to be both of their first Rs 200 crore grossers. Thus, they've decided to work on their next project on Eid as well, and an official announcement will be made soon. Both Venkatesh and Pooja Hegde, both from the south, play pivotal roles in the film.

Reports have it that the shoot will begin on March 15, 2022, in Mumbai, and will take place over the course of four to five months in various places. The shoot is set to end in September of this year, after which it will move on to the post-production stage.

Talking of Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali the film is said to be a family comedy revolving around Salman, Venkatesh and Pooja Hegde. Three more actors are expected to come on board to play Salman's brothers in the film, whereas the hunt is on for a female actor from the South to play Venky's romantic interest.

Salman will next be seen in the third instalment of Tiger co-starring Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi. The film is slated to hit big screens by December 2022.
