Shehnaaz Gill makes her Bollywood debut with Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.
Salman Khan asked Shehnaaz Gill to ‘move on’ at the trailer launch of his upcoming film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The actor spoke on behalf of Shehnaaz when she was silent after being asked a question at the event. Shehnaaz was in fact expecting Salman to make a comment.
She was asked whether she’s nervous about being judged for her Bollywood. Salman interrupted her and said “Move on kar jao.” Shehnaaz replied with an affirmative – that she did move on.
Shehnaaz Gill was reportedly dating late Sidharth Shukla. #SidNaaz fans were left heartbroken when Sidharth had an untimely demise. They, however, did not stop rooting for the duo. Shehnaaz, in fact, dedicated a song to Sidharth and strongly believes that he is with her.
“I don’t get nervous but it happens in front of Salman sir. I don’t usually feel nervous otherwise,” Shehnaaz added at the trailer launch.
Shehnaaz then replied to how she felt seeing herself on the big screen. She said, “I loved seeing myself. I love myself. That is the first thing for me. Salman sir and all come later. It is great to be among all of these stalwarts. They have all achieved something in life. It is my proud moment to stand behind Salman sir. I would like to thank him.”
The Punjabi singer-actress also spoke about an incident which came true in her life. It involved Salman Khan. “I would also want to share a tale. It was my first music video and I was rejected on going for shoot. I was called out as a kid. I cried a lot that day. My mom asked me why am I crying and blessed me saying I will work in a Salman Khan film in life. It was long ago but sir gave me an opportunity. Woh kehte hai na, maa ki baat sach hoti hai,” the actress shared.
Shehnaaz Gill became popular in the Hindi film industry post her stint on Bigg Boss 13. The actress makes her Bollywood debut with Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, starring Salman Khan in the lead role. The movie features Pooja Hegde as the female lead. It also stars Venkatesh Daggubati, Bhumika Chawla, Vijender Singh, Abhimanyu Singh, Raghav Juyal, Jassie Gill, Siddharth Nigam and Palak Tiwari in pivotal roles.
