Salman Khan to grace the song launch?

Fans have been waiting for it with bated breath and it is now set to begin. The promotions of Kiccha Sudeep’s upcoming action-fantasy drama Vikrant Rona is now in full swing, in the run-up to its July 28 theatrical release. With a little over two months to go, the makers are now set to launch the first single from the film, Gadang Rakkamma – The Queen of Good Times, on Monday.

Interestingly, the team of Vikrant Rona is not making a splash of the song in all five versions on the same day. On Monday it is the Kannada version that will be released at 3.05 pm with a lyrical video. According to sources, the launch will also have an on-ground event at a popular venue in Bengaluru that will be attended by Salman Khan, who is presenting the film with his banner Salman Khan Films in the north Indian belt, as well as Jacqueline Fernandez, who has a role in the film and is in the song with Sudeep.

The team will then fly to Mumbai for the launch of the Hindi version on May 24 (1.05 pm), followed by the Telugu version in Hyderabad on May 25, Tamil in Chennai on May 26 and Malayalam in Kochi on May 27. While Salman is expected to join them for the Mumbai launch too, the guests for the other language releases are yet to be announced.

Produced by Shalini and Manjunath Gowda for Shalini Artss and co-produced by Alankar Pandian of Invenio Origin, Vikrant Rona is being released in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi and English on July 28. The makers had earlier revealed a promotional tour map, according to which the Hey Fakira song was expected first. Gadangg Rakkamma was meant to be among the last promotional events before the film’s release.
