Salaar's double impact: NTR-Prashanth Neel film to face a delay

Young Tiger, NTR is all set to work with star director Prashanth Neel for an action drama that was announced a few months back. On Jr NTR's birthday, the makers also announced that the film would go on floors in the mid of 2024. But as per the latest gossip in the film circles, the film might not go on the floors on the said date. The star hero's fans are super excited for this combo and the delay will surely hurt them.
Going into details, Prashanth Neel is ready with his latest release Salaar which will be out on August 28, 2023. Well, the teaser has received a mixed response and the makers have revealed that there will be a second part as well for the action drama featuring Prabhas. That means, once the first part is out, depending on the response, the second part will also go on the floors with a lot of changes. Also, the makers have not yet decided when the second part will be released.
Naturally, all this will take a lot of time and the shooting of the second part will see a delay hereby indirectly postponing NTR's film with Neel. There is a strong rumor that the NTR-Neel film will not go on floors in 2024 and might be pushed ahead to 2025.
As of now, Jr NTR is busy shooting for his new film Devara in the direction of Koratala Siva and this project will be wrapped up by the end of this year. The makers have locked April 4th as the release date of Devara. So, once NTR wraps up Devara, he needs to wait for a long time to take the Prashanth Neel film on the floors.
We need to see how all this will pan out in the days to come. Devara also has Saif Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, and Jagapthi Babu in key roles. The film is being made on a massive note and Koratala Siva is directing this biggie.
