According to the latest reports, Prashanth Neel and co. has wrapped up dubbing the Telugu and other versions of the film, with only the Kannada version remaining.
With the first instalment of Prashanth Neel's Salaar scheduled to release in September 2023, all eyes are currently set on the pre-release promotions that are likely to get underway soon. Both Neel and the rest of the Salaar team, including producer Hombale Films, have remained largely quiet thus far with respect to the promotions but it would seem that the month of August might offer some respite to all the yearning fans.
Salaar, as mentioned already, will be a two-part epic with the first part, titled Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire, slated to arrive in cinemas worldwide on September 28. Prabhas leads the film along with Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Sriya Reddy, Easwari Rao, Pramod and several others.
As far as the film's updates are concerned, it emerged very recently that the team could drop the first single from the soundtrack in the first week of August. The makers, however, are yet to confirm this. One of the latest reports, in this vein, now informs us that Prashanth Neel and composer Ravi Basrur have begun working on the background score of the film. The two are said to be stationed in the latter's hometown of Basrur to also work on the re-recording of Part 1, so one could expect a sample of the film's music to be presented very soon.
But the sought-after update remains the trailer of Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire and the same report throws light on this as well, claiming that the video could be released in the third or the fourth week of August. So, this means that the next few weeks are crucial for those who eagerly await an update concerning Salaar.
Also, we learn that the team has wrapped up dubbing the Telugu and other versions of the film, with only the Kannada version remaining. Salaar will be a bona fide pan-Indian film which will be released in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi.
