Salaar has taken the box office by storm in Telugu. The Prabhas-starrer has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark in Telugu states.

Salaar is one of the biggest hits of 2023 and there is no denying this. The Prashanth Neel action drama was released on December 22, 2023, worldwide and is doing great in all areas of its release. In Telugu states, things have been unprecedented, with Salaar in no mood to slow down.

The Prabhas-starrer has completed five days and has amassed Rs 102 crore in just the Telugu states. This is a huge amount and reflects the star value that Prabhas has in Telugu. The collections in a few areas have picked up and also dropped in others. Meanwhile, new screens are being added in various locations.

The makers of Pushpa, Mythri Movie Makers, purchased the theatrical rights to Salaar in the Telangana region and had a plan in place to release the film. They aired special shows on the first day and this led to the film taking a solid start at the box office.

In the Telangana states alone, Salaar has crossed the Rs 50 crore share mark, which is huge. To be in a safe zone, Salaar needs to make close to Rs 67 crore in Telangana. Fans are happy that Prabhas has scored a hit but are also quite disappointed that there are no post-release promotions from the team. Not even a single event has been held by Hombale Films to celebrate the success of the film.

On the other hand, the occupancy of Salaar has picked up in North India as Dunki has failed to make a mark at the box office. Several theatres that were given to Dunki are slowly being transferred to Salaar. So, in the days to come, we need to see how much Salaar will make at the Hindi box office. For now, the action drama is creating havoc at the Telugu box office.
