The wait is finally over! All Darlings aka Prabhas fans will now get to watch his film Salaar in Hindi as well. Yes, the makers heard you and they have come up with an OTT release date and platform for you to enjoy Prabhas’ most violent film. So, if you’re wondering where can you stream the movie, we’re here to tell you exactly that (PS: It’s after Valentine’s Week).

When will Salaar release on OTT?

Salaar will be out exactly one week from now. Yes, it has not opted for the Valentine’s Week or even the Valentine’s Day release. The movie will be out on February 16, two days after the season of romance comes to an end.

Where can you stream the movie?

Disney+Hotstar has acquired the rights to stream Salaar in Hindi. Thus, the film will be available on the OTT platform exclusively, at least for some time.

Salaar a two-part film

Tagged as Prabhas’ most violent film, Salaar was announced as a two-part film. The first installment of the film released and is called Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire. The movie is originally in Telugu and has been dubbed in various languages, including Hindi.

About the film

The epic-action movie is directed by Prashant Neel and also stars Pritviraj Sukumaran in the lead role. The other actors include Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy and Ramachandra Raju. The movie is about the friendship between a tribesman Deva (played by Prabhas) and Khansaar’s (the place where they live) prince Varadha (Prithviraj). The latter wants to be the undisputed ruler of Khansaar and for the same, he takes Deva aka Salaar’s help. The movie was out in theatres on December 22, 2023 and received a mixed reaction from the critics. The film became the highest grossing Telugu movie of 2023 after minting more than Rs. 715 crores at the Box Office. Salaar released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada on Netflix on January 20, 2024.
