Salaar 2: Prithviraj Sukumaran to take a break from L2 Empuraan for Prabhas’ film?

Salaar 2, the upcoming sequel of Prabhas and Prashanth Neel’s film is expected to go on floors in August. Prithviraj Sukumaran is also expected to be a part of the schedule.

Salaar 2: Shouryanga Parvam, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2023-released blockbuster Salaar is set to go on floors soon. The movie directed by Prashanth Neel features Telugu superstar Prabhas in the lead role, and multi-faceted talent Prithviraj Sukumaran in a pivotal role. Reportedly, Salaar 2 is set to go on floors in August 2024, in the Ramoji Film City of Hyderabad. Prithviraj, who plays Varada Raja Mannaar in the action thriller franchise, is set to take from his directorial venture L2 Empuraan, for the film.

Prithviraj Sukumaran to take a break from L2 Empuraan for Salaar 2?

If the recent updates are to be believed, Prithviraj Sukumaran is all set to take a break from the ongoing shooting of his third directorial venture L2 Empuraan for the upcoming schedule of Salaar 2. After wrapping up the ongoing Gujarat schedule of the upcoming Mohanlal starrer by the end of July 2024, the actor-filmmaker is expected to join the new schedule of Prabhas and Prashanth Neel’s ambitious film in Hyderabad. After wrapping up the 15-day-long first schedule, the popular Malayalam actor will resume the shooting of the Lucifer sequel, mostly with a foreign schedule.

Salaar 2: Here’s what we know

As per the reports, director Prashanth Neel and his team have already shot over 20 percent of the sequel, Salaar 2: Shouryanga Parvam, during the filming of Part 2. The pending portions of Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran’s film are expected to be shot in multiple schedules across the second half of 2024 and the first half of 2025, as Prashanth Neel is planning to direct his ambitious Jr. NTR starrer simultaneously. Prithviraj’s plans for 2024

After completing the ongoing L2 Empuraan Gujarat schedule and Salaar 2 first schedule, Prithviraj Sukumaran is expected to shoot the pending portions of the long-delayed film Vilayath Buddha. Later, the actor-filmmaker will proceed with the pending shooting of the Mohanlal starrer, which is expected to be wrapped by October 2024. Later, Prithviraj is reportedly planning to kickstart the shooting of Khaleefa, the upcoming action thriller directed by Turbo director Vysakh,
