Sajni from Kiran Rao's Laapataa Ladies out - Arijit Singh's voice strikes a romantic chord!

Kiran Rao’s directorial venture Laapataa Ladies is slated for a March 1 release date.

Laapataa Ladies, Kiran Rao, and Aamir Khan's upcoming venture is one of the awaited films of 2024. Since the announcement of the film, it has been making headlines. Starring Pratibha Ranta, Nitanshi Goel, and Sparsh Shrivastav, the film is all set to release in cinemas on March 1. The first song from the film, 'Doubtwa' was released on February 5 and now today, the makers have released another song from the film titled 'Sajni'. It is sung in the melodious voice of none other than Arijit Singh.

The songs take us to the romantic side of the comedy-drama. Sung by Arijit Singh, it will touch all the right chords of your heart. The music of Sajni has been composed by Ram Sampath while Divyanidhi Sharma penned the lyrics.

And as we are already in the most romantic week of the year, 'Valentine's Week', this song is out at a perfect time and you can dedicate this to your loved one. Its timeless melody will linger in your heart as it redefines romance with its exquisitely penned lyrics.

Directed by Kiran Rao, the trailer of the movie gives us a glimpse of the humourous world of Laapataa Ladies. The narrative of the film revolves around two brides who get exchanged on a train. It is set in the rural India. The trailer showcases that Deepak Kumar (played by Sparsh Shrivastav), the groom, is on a search for his true love. He then encounters Ravi Kishan's police officer as he seeks help to find his bride. The investigation starts and it takes us on a humourous ride.

For the uninitiated, the film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in 2023. The film received a standing ovation there. The film, produced under the banners of Aamir Khan Productions and Kindling Productions, is based on an award-winning story by Biplab Goswami. It is scheduled for release on March 1, 2024.
