The Mikhil Musale directorial will drop on Netflix a couple of months after it hits the big screen.

Plot overview:

A young physics teacher named Sajini (Radhika Madan) goes missing and the mystery of her disappearance drives the plot of the riveting social thriller Sajini Shinde Ka Viral Video. Bela [Nimrat Kaur], a tenacious veteran and expert of the crime branch's investigation team, takes up the case to determine if Sajini disappeared on her own or was abducted. There are a lot of possible culprits, but nothing is as cut and dried as Bela would have liked. In Sajini Shinde Ka Viral Video, Bela is racing against the clock to find out what happened to Sajini and why everyone is a suspect in her disappearance or possible murder.

The film's co-writers are Mikhil Musale, Parinda Joshi, Anu Singh Choudhary, and Kshitij Patwardhan, and it stars Bhagyashree, Subodh Bhave, Chinmaye Mandlekar, Shashank Shinde, and Sumeet Vyas in supporting roles. Dinesh Vijan has produced the film which was previously titled Happy Teachers Day under his home banner, Maddock Films.

Director's statement on film

Earlier this week, the makers of Sajini Shinde Ka Viral Video dropped two-minute footage from the film before its release. Talking about this strategic movie, director Mikhil said that he feels very passionately about the Sajini Shinde Ka Viral Video. They are confident in their ability to capture attention and keep viewers on the edge of their seats. By revealing this previously unseen material, the makers hope to pique the interest of a wider audience. The filmmaker concluded by saying, "We hope they enjoy this exclusive look into our labour of love."
