Saif Ali Khan,Rani Mukerji’s Bunty Aur Babli 2 releases on Amazon Prime Video

The film is a sequel to 2005 film, which featured Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles

The cunning, conning duo of Bunty and Babli are bringing their antics to OTT. It was announced that Bunty Aur Babli 2 has started streaming on Amazon Prime Video. The announcement was made by the streaming giant on their official social media handles.

Bunty Aur Babli 2 is a sequel to the 2005 film, which starred Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles. The film told the tale of a young man and woman who team up to con people and make money, after they figure out how ebay it is to do.

The sequel sees the con couple in retirement, years after having left their life of crime behind. However, when a series of robberies take place which oddly resembles the ones they used to carry out, the couple realise that someone else is using their well known trademark and masquerading as them. They decide to come out of retirement to catch the copycats and put an end to their charade.

Bunty Aur Babli 2 sees Mukerji reprising her role. The film also stars Saif Ali Khan, Siddhant Chaturvedi and newcomer Sharvari Wagh along with Pankaj Tripathi and Yashpal Sharma.

The comedy movie was written and directed by debutante Varun V. Sharma and produced by Yash Raj Films’ Aditya Chopra.

The film was released in theatres on November 19.
