Saif Ali Khan stable after surgery, set for a packed 2025 with Jewel Thief and Kartavya

The medical staff at Lilavati Hospital sent a statement Thursday afternoon assuring Saif Ali Khan's loved ones and admirers that the actor "is out of danger" following surgery. Someone believed to be a burglar attacked him six times at his Bandra apartment in the early hours of January 16. The actor, who is now progressing in his recovery, has an eventful 2025 ahead of him. He will be promoting two of his upcoming summer titles, Jewel Thief—The Red Sun Chapter and Kartavya in the coming months.

Rumour has it that Jaideep Ahlawat's next film, Jewel Thief is aiming for a March release. An insider informed Midday that Robbie Grewal, with some assistance from Kookie Gulati, completed production on the heist thriller at the end of last year. The last round of post-production has begun on the project. Even though Saif completed some dubbing in November, he is down to his last two days of work. The team is likely to commence marketing activities in the middle of March, ahead of its release on March 27.

Pulkit (known for Bhakshak [2024]), the director of Kartavya has scheduled its OTT film premiere for the middle of 2025. The source informed the tabloid that the promotions will begin after May.

Coming up in August, Khan's next film, Race 4 will be under production. They are "currently finalising a director," according to one insider.

The actor also has Devara: Part 2 and Priyadarshan's untitled next project in the works.

Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor Khan released a statement on her Instagram page, detailing their family's challenging day and their ongoing efforts to understand the events.
