The actor was last seen in the Prabhas starrer ‘Adipurush’
Saif Ali Khan’s latest release was the Prabhas starrer ‘Adipurush’. Even though the film was mired with controversies galore, it seems that Saif Ali Khan has now moved ahead. This time round, the actor will be seen making his mark as Peter Quill, the iconic Star-Lord in Marvel's ‘Wastelanders: Star-Lord’. In this Hindi Audible Original podcast series, which has been set in the alternate future of the Marvel Universe, Saif Ali Khan will be seen lending his voice Peter Quill.
Saif Ali Khan, who was seemingly extremely enthusiastic about his latest venture, said in a media statement, "Star-Lord is a beloved character in the Marvel universe. Bringing this character and his inspiring story to life through my voice is truly a great experience. As an actor it is very important to keep sharpening every element of acting and voice is one of the most important ones. When it comes to modulation, dialogues, reactions, you need to get it all right. As for the rest of the cast, it includes the multi-talented Vrajesh Hirjee as Rocket, Sushant Divgikar as Cora, Anangsha Biswas as The Collector, Maninee De as Emma Frost and Harjeet Walia as Kraven the Hunter. The said series has, in all, six seasons in all. And, each of them is focused on a different ‘Marvel Super Hero’. The series’ first season, Marvel's ‘Wastelanders: Star-Lord’, premiered on Audible earlier this month.
Speaking of Saif Ali Khan, recently, an old interview of his on WildFilmsIndia’s YouTube channel went viral. In the interview, Saif Ali Khan was seen talking about his share of struggles in the industry. The actor, after thanking God, ‘While everyone has their own journey, he was in a happy place right now. And that he was satisfied with where he was in the industry. He added that he was hopeful that he would be more successful in the coming years’.
