Saif Ali Khan Attacked: From Race 4 to Jewel Thief, 8 projects that might be rescheduled to fit actor's recovery time

Saif Ali Khan was stabbed during a robbery attempt in his Mumbai house on January 16. Although all his upcoming films are not scheduled to begin this year, it is believed to be rescheduled.

Saif Ali Khan was stabbed by an unknown intruder with a knife at his home in Mumbai’s Bandra area during a robbery, officials confirmed. The incident took place around 2:30 am, and Khan was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent surgery. The actor has several films in the pipeline and he is currently shooting for Siddharth Anand's film titled Jewel Thief. Due to this attack, it is believed that shooting for his upcoming movies will be rescheduled.

Before the attack, Saif Ali Khan was in the middle of shooting Jewel Thief: The Red Sun Chapter currently. The film is directed by Siddharth Anand also visited him at the hospital. It is believed that the shooting schedule will be rescheduled to fit the actor's recovery time.

Saif is also a part of Ramesh Taurani's Race 4, the fourth installment of Race. Apart from these, he also has Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Spirit, which features Telugu superstar Prabhas in the leading role.

Saif, who was last seen in Devara: Part 1 co-starring Jr. NTR and Janhvi Kapoor, will be a part of Devara: Part 2 too. Other projects that Saif has reportedly signed include Click Shankar, which is helmed by Tamil director Balaji Mohan, a yet-to-be-titled film with Priyadarshan, and Shootout at Byculla with Sanjay Gupta. Reports also mentioned that he will share screen space with his daughter, Sara Ali Khan, in a film. However, nothing about that project has been confirmed yet.

Meanwhile, speaking about the attack Indian Express quoted a Mumbai police source as saying, “We suspect the help must have allowed him entry, and due to some reason a fight took place. She is being interrogated by the local police to get more details about the accused. Seven local police teams are working to track him down.”
