Directed by Ashish Bende, the Marathi web show is inspired by real-life events of brutal murders that shook Maharashtra in the 1970s. Ever since the series' trailer dropped, audiences have been awaiting Manvat Murders' OTT release. Before that, the show's actress Sai Tamhankar shared insights about her character, Samindari.
Sai plays the role of Samindari, a Marathi woman who is entangled in a web of murder and deceit. The actress will be seen delivering a powerful and emotionally nuanced portrayal of Samindari in the series. Sai stated that being a part of Manvat Muders has been a remarkable experience for her.
The actress revealed that this show is filled with interesting twists and is set against a captivating village backdrop. These were some elements that attracted Sai to doing Manvat Murders. Produced by Mahesh Kothare and Adinath Kothare, Manvat Murders is based on Ramakant S. Kulkarni's autobiographical work Footprints on the Sand of Crime. Apart from Sai, the web series' star cast includes Ashutosh Gowariker, Sonali Kulkarni, and Mankrand Anaspure. It is scheduled for an OTT premiere on October 4, 2024.
