Sai Ronak, Ankita Saha and Bismi Naas are teaming up for a crime comedy titled Raajahyogam, which is releasing in theatres this weekend. Directed by Ram Ganapathi, the film is bankrolled by Mani Lakshman Rao under Sri Navabala Creations, Vaishnavi Natraj Productions. Ahead of the film’s release, Sai Ronak spoke to the media about the film and what makes this a theatre-worthy watch.

“I would actually label Raajahyogam a romantic entertainer, a non-stop laugh riot that’ll engage you for two hours. I play a driver in the film and I’m hired for the job because I look classy to fit amidst the high society crowds. I go to a hotel in place of my owner to meet a woman. Both of us try to woo each other claiming that we’re rich and we expect a lot from one another,” the actor says.

How does the couple’s story move forward? The screenplay promises to be engaging and there’s an interesting subplot around a diamond costing thousands of crores, Sai Ronak shares. “The film is a typical EVV Satyanarayana-style comedy with regular commercial ingredients like fights, dances and romance in the right mix.”

Sai Ronak admits he wasn’t very comfortable with the romantic scenes and even argued with the director about it. “However, when I watched the entire film, I could understand his vision. None of the scenes will feel out of place. I am certainly good with dances and fights. I even helped top stars in the industry with the dances. I got a film where I could showcase this skill,” he states.

The actor is a bigger fan of larger-than-life movies like KGF, RRR, Aditya 369 over realistic fares. “Raajahyogam is a full-on commercial film where you put your mind aside while you watch it. The ideas are very creative and it’ll thoroughly entertain crowds.” Sai Ronak says he doesn’t have a Godfather in the industry and used dance as his USP to turn an actor.

The budding artiste has a wide variety of releases lined up ahead, including a thriller with Neelakanta, Popcorn alongside Avika Gor and an untitled film with Ushakiron Movies. “I hope to prove myself as a versatile performer,” he signs off.
