Santhanam's Sabhaapathy which was released in theatres a month ago, is now available on digital platform as well. The comic caper, directed by Srinivasa Rao, has debutant Preethi Verma playing the female lead in it. MS Bhaskar, Pugazh, Sayaji Shinde and Lollusabha Swaminathan essay pivotal characters in the movie.

Sam CS has composed music for the project which has cinematography by Baskar Arumugam and editing by Leo John Paul. Hari Dinesh has choreographed action scenes for the movie which has dance movements composed by Sathish Krishnan. C Ramesh Kumar has produced the movie under RK Entertainment.

What's Sabhaapathy all about?

The film's story revolves around Sabhaapathy who suffers from stammering problems because of which he finds it difficult to secure a job. He is in love with his childhood sweetheart, but he desperately needs a well-paid job to convince her parents. An unexpected incident changes his life and he becomes a multi-millionaire.

But little did he know that the money belongs to a politician. Will Sabhaapathy and the politician strike a deal? The movie, which released on November 19, opened to mixed reviews from critics and the audience. What stood out in the film is a few hilarious sequences featuring Santhanam and emotional moments between him and MS Bhaskar.

When and where to watch Sabhaapathy online?

The film started streaming on Amazon Prime Video from December 17. Sabhaapathy is another project of Santhanam which he carries solely on his shoulders. Unlike a few of his previous outings, the actor has worked on his character's emotional angle as well to cater to the family audience.

The movie is the actor's third release this year, followed by Parris Jeyaraj (streaming on MX Player and Sun NXT) and Dikkiloona (streaming on Zee5).
