Sabari, the 2024 Tamil-Telugu film headlined by actor Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in the lead role, is now available for streaming on SunNXT. It is also available on OTTplay Premium app. It is available in Telugu and dubbed versions in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.

Actor Varalaxmi Sarathkumar featured in the 2024 Tamil-Telugu film Sabari. The action thriller is now available on SunNXT and alternatively on OTTplay Premium which can be downloaded from App Store and Google Play Store.

An action thriller, Sabari hit big screens on May 3. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar plays a single mother who must face her past demons in order to safeguard her child's future from imminent danger. Written and directed by filmmaker Anilkatz in his directorial debut and produced by Mahendra Nath Kondla, the film also stars actors Mime Gopi, Ganesh Venkatraman, and Shashank in prominent roles.

The music for Sabari has been scored by Gopi Sundar, with Rahul Shrivatsav and Nani Chamidishetty cranking the camera. Editing was handled by Dharmendra Kakarala. Sabari got mixed reviews upon its release. OTTplay review of the film read, “Sabari has a great premise and a memorable performance by Varalaxmi Sarathkumar. The first half is lovely, but the second half falls flat, making Sabari a below-average watch this weekend.”

Talking about her role in the film, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar said to OTTplay, “The mother-daughter relationship is showcased in an endearing manner, and the twists that the story throws bring out a new dimension in my character, Sabari. My role is unlike anything I have done so far in my career. That is also the main reason for me to accept the film in the first place.”

Varalaxmi, who recently got married, is awaiting the release of her Kannada film Max. The action thriller is directed by Vijay Karthikeyaa and stars Kichcha Sudeep in the lead role. The actor was also seen in Raayan, the Tamil action drama, directed by Dhanush. The film is available for streaming on Prime Video.
