Sabari on OTT: Along with SunNXT, the Varalaxmi Sarathkumar film is now streaming on THIS platform

Sabari features Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in a lead role. The film was in the making for over one and a half years and finally hit the screens on May 3, 2024. Though the reviews for the film were decent, Sabari did not fare well at the box office and was out of theaters within just a week of its release.

For the longest time, Sabari did not find any OTT partner and this disappointed the makers in a big way. Finally, SunNXT bought the digital rights for a fancy price and made the film available in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi, from October 11, 2024. The response has been quite dull despite having a big name like Varalaxmi Sarathkumar.

Now, we have come to know that along with SunNXT, Sabari is also available on Aha in Telugu. The film is now streaming on Aha and has taken a decent start. All those who missed the film in theaters are watching it on Aha. Sabari is about a single mother played by Varalaxmi who goes to great lengths to save her daughter.

Sabari was written and directed by filmmaker Anilkatz in his directorial debut and produced by Mahendra Nath Kondla. Apart from Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, the film also stars actors Mime Gopi, Ganesh Venkatraman, and Shashank in prominent roles.

Varalaxmi is a very popular name in Telugu cinema and has several films lined up. She was doing mostly supporting roles in films but with Sabari, she played the female lead for the first time in Telugu cinema. Her performance was appreciated a lot in Sabari but sadly, the film did not do much at the box office. We, need to see how it will fare on Aha.
