The film, which marks Devgn’s third directorial venture, also stars Amitabh Bachchan.
Runway 34, which made its way into theatres on Friday, saw Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh don the pilot’s uniform. While Devgn starred as Captain Vikrant Khanna, Singh essayed the role of his co-pilot Tanya. In a recent interaction, the actress talked about how the film had been one of the ‘most beautiful’ experiences in her career as an actor.
During an interaction with ETimes, the actress said that she considered the film one of “the most beautiful experiences” of her career as it was quite different from her previous work. She talked about how the entire film, including her role and the film’s genre, gave her a chance to do something different. The opportunity she received to work with Devgn and Amitabh Bachchan also added to the actress’ happiness with her role. Expressing her joy at the good reviews the film received, the actress added that she hoped the film would be readily accepted by audiences so that more filmmakers would be encouraged to try new things.

Boman Irani, Angira Dhar and Avinash Kuri also star in Runway 34, which is now showing in theatres. After its theatrical run, the aviation thriller film will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video. The film’s OTT release date is yet to be announced.
Singh had also been a part of John Abraham’s Attack, which also premiered this year. Her upcoming releases include Ayalaan, Thank God and the Ayushmann Khurrana- Shefali Shah starrer Doctor G. Singh reunites with her Runway 34 co-star Devgn in Thank God, which also stars Sidharth Malhotra. In Ayalaan, she will share the screen with Sivakarthikeyan, Sharad Kelkar, Isha Koppikar and Yogi Babu, among others.
