Runway 34 Box Office collection day 4: Ajay Devgn-Amitabh Bachchan’s film sees 25% drop on first Monday

Runway 34 has performed better than Heropanti 2 in terms of consistency but still lacks in total Box Office collection.

Ajay Devgn’s movie Runway 34 has seen 25% drop on its first Monday. The movie has however been performing better than Tiger Shroff, Tara Sutaria and Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Heropanti 2. Runway 34 has seen a rise over the weekend and this is its first drop, which is also expected since it is a weekday.

Runway 34 has earned Rs. 2.35 crores on its first Monday, according to a report on Box Office India. This takes the total collection of the movie to Rs. 15.35 crores.

Here’s the day-wise Box Office collection for Runway 34:

Friday – 3 crores

Saturday – 4.50 crores

Sunday – 5.50 crores

Monday – 2.35 crores

Total – 15.35 crores

Runway 34 might be performing better than Heropanti 2 but it is not performing great. The movie had to collect as much as or more than its opening day Friday, which was not the case with this film.

Although Runway 34 has a huge edge over Heropanti 2, it is unlikely that the film could compete with KGF: Chapter 2’s success. Currently, Runway 34 will have the benefit of Eid holiday on Tuesday.

Ajay’s movie with Amitabh Bachchan, Rakul Preet Singh and Boman Irani might have seen a smooth sail at the Box Office but because of its lower opening day, Runway 34 does lag behind in the total Box Office collection. While it has minted Rs. 15.35 crores, Heropanti 2 has the total nett collection of Rs. 16 crores so far.

It remains to be seen whether the next two days can change anything for Runway 34. Going by the current graph, there aren’t much hopes but it wouldn’t be fair to call the movie a flop already.
