BTS' Jin had previously confessed that he could only think of Sandeul as a close friend in the industry
Another special guest is about to appear on Run Jin, and it is none other than Kim Seokjin’s BFF Sandeul himself. Yes, after Half-star Hotel, the B1A4 singer will also be a part of Run Jin’s episode 10. In the preview released from the episode, Jin was seen calling out to Sandeul, whose real name is Lee Jung-hwan. Like the last time, they went fishing together. But, do you know how did they become best friends? Here’s tracing back their journey…
Back when they worked together in Half-star Hotel, a show which got the highest ratings ever following their episode, Jin had said that when he was asked about a close celebrity friend that he would like to invite, he could only think of B1A4's Sandeul. Even on the show, Jin and Sandeul went fishing. They kept singing and fishing on the island. Jin, like always, paid for the meal for everybody on the show.
Apart from them both being popular singers, Jin and Sandeul are also of the same age, since they were both born in 1992. Jin and Sandeul have also been spotted playing games together in their free time, thus proving their strong bond.
Sandeul had also previous recalled his second meeting with BTS' Jin. He remembered how Jin grabbed him by the stomach and him being confused about what was really happening. Jin simply told Sandeul that he wanted to touch his stomach and so, he did. The singer further said that he felt good so he continued holding on to Sandeul's stomach when they weren't even friends. That moment, though, changed things. It was how they became close friends.
Interestingly, Jin is an introvert by nature and he does not open up to people unless put in the right circumstances. With Sandeul, everything just worked out.
Episode 10 of Run Jin, contrary to fun, could take a serious turn. The same was revealed in the preview of the episode. Jin was excited to go fishing with his bestie, but had to stop right before he could use the bait to lure the fishes out. Were they able to continue fishing? Stay tuned to find out.
