It's impossible not to discuss an iconic film like Rudraveena while referring to Chiranjeevi's remarkable career. A new Telugu film with the iconic title went on floors earlier this week. The film features Shreeram Nimmala, Elsa Ghosh, Subhasree, Sonia Satya in the lead roles. Composer-turned-actor Raghu Kunche has been roped in to play a special role in the project. G Madhu Sudhan Reddy, who has also written the script, is wielding the megaphone for Rudraveena.
Ragula Laxman is bankrolling the project under Sai Veela Cinemas. The film commenced with a small pooja ceremony in Yanam, where the principal shoot is also expected to begin soon. Writer, director G Madhu Sudhan Reddy is confident that the film will entertain audiences of all age groups. Rudraveena will launch several newcomers into the industry and it has a strong technical crew to deliver a quality product that's visually appealing and equally entertaining, he said.
The film's supporting cast comprises names like Chammak Chandra, Chalaaki Chanti, Dhanraj and Getup Srinu. GLN Babu has been roped in as the cinematographer for Rudraveena while it will have music by Mahaveer Yelender. The technical crew includes Bhupathi Yadagiri as the art director, G Nageswar Reddy (who handles the edits) and Real Satish as the stunt choreographer. K Trivikrama Rao will supervise the project. More details surrounding Rudraveena will be announced shortly.
Some of other Chiranjeevi's iconic titles that were used for recent films include Khaidi, Raja Vikramarka, Vijetha, Yamudiki Mogudu.
