The title, cast and crew of the film will be officially announced tomorrow
Ravi Teja, who tasted consecutive successes with Dhamaka and Waltair Veerayya recently, struggled to draw crowds to theatres for his recent release - Ravanasura, where he was seen in a role with several negative shades. He’s gearing up for the release of his first pan-Indian film in his career, Tiger Nageswara Rao, directed by Vamsee, that’s set to hit screens this Dussehra (on October 20).
That’s not all, he’s simultaneously working on a slew of projects that haven’t been announced yet. The first among them that’ll be announced soon will be his film to be directed by popular cinematographer, filmmaker Karthik Gattamneni. The latter had worked with the star for his blockbuster Dhamaka last year. The actor, cinematographer and the producers are coming together for a new film.
Yes, you heard it right. People Media Factory will be producing Ravi Teja’s 73rd film to be helmed by Karthik Gattamneni. The title and several rumours around the project have been doing the rounds for a long time now. The film is reportedly titled Eagle and will feature Anupama Parameshwaran in the lead role. While both the actors were to unite for Vakeel Saab director Venu Sriram’s Yevado Okadu many years ago, their combination has only materialised now.
“Mass Maharaja @RaviTeja_offl & @Karthik_gatta’s #MASSiveEruption - #RT73 Title Announcement Video, Tomorrow at 6:03PM. Stay tuned,” People Media Factory wrote today. “Aa lavaki o perundi. Aa peruki o pratidhwani undi. Aa pratidhwani oka prakampanam puttistundi.. RT73,” the text in the video released by the producers reads.
Karthikeya 2 dialogue writer Manibabu Karanam is one of the writers while Sujith Kolli is the executive producer. TG Vishwa Prasad produces the film and Vivek Kuchibhotla is the co-producer. People Media Factory also released Siddharth’s much-delayed Takkar recently in collaboration with Abhishek Agarwal Arts, which has met with a moderate response at the ticket window.
