The actor and director earlier worked on three action entertainers - Don, Balupu and Krack
Ravi Teja, who’s simultaneously filming for two biggies - Tiger Nageswara Rao and Eagle - has officially confirmed another prestigious project. He’s joining hands with director Gopichandh Malineni for an action entertainer to be bankrolled by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under Mythri Movie Makers, the producers of films like Pushpa 2, Waltair Veerayya.
“After a hat-trick of Blockbusters, the MASSIEST COMBO of MASS MAHARAJA- @RaviTeja_offl and director @megopichand is back again. #MassiestComboisBack. A @MusicThaman Musical,” the producers wrote, confirming the news and unveiling a motion poster. As the announcement says, S Thaman is composing the music for the film.
Expressing happiness on collaborating with Ravi Teja again, the director tweeted, “Super Thrilled to collaborate again with my dearest Mass Maharaja @RaviTeja_offl garu on our upcoming project. After a blockbuster hattrick of films, we now gear up again to deliver another solid mass entertainer, Grateful to MY HERO for this opportunity. Let’s kill it Bawa @MusicThaman. Thanks to my producers #NaveenYerneni garu, #RaviShankar garu. @MythriOfficial #MassiestComboisBack.”
Ravi Teja, extending his gratitude to the filmmaker added, “My association with @megopichand has always been a special one with memorable hattrick films. Here's to another remarkable one with Gopi & @MythriOfficial. See you soon.” In the poster released by the makers, there are hints that the story is set amidst a village backdrop where houses are set on fire and a danger sign board is visible.
RT4GM (the tentative title of the film), which will go on floors soon, is believed to be based on real incidents. Gopichandh Malineni last directed this year’s Sankranthi hit Veera Simha Reddy (streaming on Disney+ Hotstar) while Ravi Teja’s recent release was Ravanasura (out on Amazon Prime Video), a redemption saga helmed by Sudheer Varma. The actor and the director had earlier worked on hits like Don, Balupu and Krack.
