A classically trained dancer, Jr. NTR was last seen in S.S. Rajamouli’s RRR, co-starring Ram Charan

South Indian cinema has a number of lead actors who are mesmerising dancers as well. One among the list is Telugu star Jr. NTR and his moves in the song Naatu Naatu from the recent Rajamouli’s film RRR has taken the internet by storm. Dance master Sekhar has now praised the actor’s dancing ability, saying that he is one actor who does not need rehearsals.
During a media interaction, the star choreographer told TOI, “If there is one hero who does not want rehearsals, it is Jr NTR. He doesn't even keep up with his dance strikes. He only needs one glance and is able to perfectly imitate it. He is the only hero who does not practice."
While Jr. NTR has confirmed his status as a flexible dancer with fast feet and great agility, the classically trained Kuchipudi dancer has the whole country in awe with his steps in the song Naatu Naatu from RRR. The song features Jr. NTR and Ram Charan face off with some fast-paced dance moves. The song has since become a big hit and the the video has crossed over 170 million views on YouTube.
Jr. NTR starred as Komaram Bheem in S.S. Rajamouli’s RRR, co-starring Ram Charan as Alluri Sitarama Raju. The movie, which was released in five languages in the country, became a massive hit and crossed the Rs. 1000 crore mark at the worldwide box office.
Sekhar master and Jr. NTR have previously worked together in movies such as Janatha Garage, Temper, Ramayya Vasthavayya and Nannaku Prematho.
The star’s fans have two promising projects to look forward to, with his next, tentatively titled NTR30 with Acharya director Koratala Siva and NTR31 with KGF director Prashanth Neel.
