S.S. Rajamouli, who is known for writing some great intros for his heroes, which lead to some unforgettable moments for the fans, says he was scared to shoot Ram Charan's entry scene in the film, RRR.
As the film RRR is nearing its release, the director is touring the country with his lead actors, Ram Charan and Jr NTR to promote the film, leaving no stone unturned. During their visit to the historic Howrah Bridge in Kolkata, Rajamouli opened up about shooting the introduction of Ram Charan as he was recalling a monumental shot in the movie.
The Baahubali director reportedly said that Ram Charan's intro scene was one of the scariest shots in his upcoming historic period drama. "It has people as many as 1,000 marching towards Ram Charan, ready to attack him. That shot was so high-voltage, just to imagine," he said according to DNA. He further added the adrenaline rush when a thousand people are ganging up against one person has been emoted with great effort.
He recalled the challenge of shooting the scene. He said he was scared as he was not able to see Ram Charan amidst all the dust and a crowd of 1,000 people but he felt relieved when he gave the shot without any issue. Unlike Ram Charan's introduction scene, NTR's entry is expected to be high on an adrenaline rush with an emotional connection.
The magnum opus tells the fictionalised story of real-life Indian revolutionaries, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. Apart from Ram Charan and Jr NTR, the film also features Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris, Samuthirakani, Alison Doody, Ray Stevenson and Shriya Saran.
