SS Rajamouli's film, RRR has been heaping praises and breaking records at the box office globally. Many celebrities have lauded the film, which stars Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn, among others. And the latest star to join the bandwagon is Ranveer Singh.
The '83 actor is delighted that the film is doing exceptionally well commercially. The actor was recently at Dubai Expo 2020. While speaking at the event, the actor shared his joy for Rajamouli's magnum opus and according to Bollywood Hungama, said, "RRR is beating Hollywood movie collections. This is a proud moment for Indian cinema." He was all praises of the filmmaker for his larger-than-life storytelling style. He added, "We got to love the way Rajamouli sir tells the stories."
RRR has broken the records of Tom Holland's Uncharted and Jake Jake Gyllenhaal’s Ambulance in the UK. The film has also beaten the record of Robert Pattinson's The Batman in Australia but in the UK, the film continues to rule the box office. RRR is in the second position after The Batman in the UK.
Earlier, Salman Khan too praised Rajamouli's film. During a press conference, he told the media that Ram Charan, son of his Godfather co-star Chiranjeevi, has done a fantastic job in the movie.
Currently, RRR has made over Rs 600 crores worldwide and is inching towards Rs 700 crore. It became the fastest movie to enter the 100 crore club in India post-pandemic. The film is running in theatres in Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam.
