RRR: Prabhas shares his review of Ram Charan-Jr NTR’s film, which broke his film Baahubali’s record

SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus RRR is still putting up an impressive run in theatres even after 20 days of its release. The film broke numerous box office records, especially on its opening day. RRR now holds the crown of the film with the biggest opening day at the box office, a record previously held by Baahubali: The Conclusion, also a Rajamouli’s film. But despite breaking his film’s record, Baahubali star Prabhas bears no ill will towards the film. In fact, the star seems to have nothing but good things to say about RRR, recently revealing his thoughts after watching the film.

In conversation with India today, Prabhas said that he ‘absolutely loved’ RRR and said he had a ‘great experience’ watching it. The actor spoke about how the film was one of the highest grossers in Indian cinema, and how it’s getting closer to earning Rs 1,100 crores at the box office. The actor also revealed that there were scenes in the film which made him emotional.

“I got tears in my eyes in 10 scenes and I could easily pick out 50 scenes which got me hyped. It was just too good," he said. The star also believed that with the success of RRR and KGF Chapter 2, audiences could get to see more pan-Indian films as well. In conversation with Telugu360, Prabhas said that Rajamouli wasn’t a South Indian director anymore, he is an Indian director. Referring to the huge success of RRR and KGF Chapter 2, the actor said that the north and south Indian film industries should come together, and filmmakers should focus more on creating ‘cross Indian films’. He also said that he is a ‘happy man’, working with KGF director Prashant Neel. The duo is collaborating on the upcoming film, Salaar, which also stars Shruti Haasan.
