Co-starring Ram Charan, the movie also stars Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn
Rajamouli’s latest project, RRR is setting new box office records every day. Jr. NTR, who plays one of the main leads in the movie alongside Ram Charan, has now revealed what his favourite scene from the movie is.
Jr NTR, talking in an interview with Film Companion revealed that the song Komuram Bheemudo was the most difficult one for him to shoot. “It was really, really, really challenging. I’m going to cherish that song for a very, very, very long time,” he said.
The actor explained that the character has a certain innocence because he hails from a forest and that he has not yet seen development. He said that though tribals are innocent, they become strong when they are on the turf.
The actor added that for the first time, his innocent heart is broken. The actor also recalled how director Rajamouli would chase him around on set to make up for the lack of actual tigers in a key scene.
Written and directed by Rajamouli, the epic period action drama stars Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead, playing Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju, respectively. The film follows the two and their relationship and what drives them.
The movie, which is bankrolled by D. V. V. Danayya under the banner of DVV Entertainment, also stars Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Samuthirakani, Shriya Saran and Olivia Morris among others.
RRR had its global release on March 25, and received positive reviews. Among the many box office records it has broken, it also became the highest grossing Indian film on its first day.
