The veteran composer, singer thanked audiences for their kind words on the film's BGM across his social media handles, ,
RRR may not be the best of albums in the illustrous career of composer MM Keeravaani, but it certainly restablished the credibility of the veteran in delivering a heart-pounding background score, film after film, consistently. Naatu Naatu, Ethara Jenda, Komuram Bheemudo are among the most popular songs from the film and the initial lullaby in RRR's opening sequence too has a separate fan-base. In a social media post, MM Keeravaani opened up on the appreciation for RRR's music.
"Thank You for all the appreciation for RRRBGM. This time I won’t let it be late. OST will be out in less than a month. That includes the full song by Malli at her village," he wrote. There has been an exceptional demand for OSTs from crowds, especially for films by Devi Sri Prasad, Thaman S and Keeravaani. This trend certainly reflects the impact the composers have made with their background scores over the recent years.
Besides, MM Keeravaani also shared a special video where young singer Prakruthi Reddy had recorded for the initial number Komma Uyyala (lullaby), three years ago, when she was barely 8-years-old. "Prakruthi was younger by 3 years when she originally dubbed this song ! Such a talented kid 😊," the composer added. For the uninitiated, the girl, who hails from Bengaluru, bagged this opportunity after impressing Keeraavani on the SVBC television show Annamayya Paataku Pattabhishekam, in which the former is a judge.
Prakruthi Reddy has sung the lullaby in three languages - Kannada, Telugu and Tamil. RRR, a fictional tale on real-life Telugu warriors Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, is directed by SS Rajamouli and features Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn in important roles. The film, which has garnered over Rs 800 crore to date, is poised to collect over Rs 1000 crores at the worldwide box office.
