SS Rajamouli's film also features Ajay Devgn and will release on March 25 in theatres
Much to the delight of the fans, the makers of RRR have released the celebration anthem of the movie as promised today. Both the Telugu and Hindi version of the songs is out. The songs Etthara Jenda and Sholay dropped a few minutes ago and have already been grabbing eyeballs and heaping praises.
The upbeat and groovy songs from SS Rajamouli's much-awaited film, RRR, features Jr NTR, Ram Charan and Alia Bhatt. The actors are seen dancing, celebrating the occasion as the drum beats, against a larger-than-life backdrop with dancers, decked in khadi clothes with red turbans.
The songs pay tribute to revolutionaries from across the country who fought for the independence of India, mentioning the states from where each of them belonged. The song mentions freedom fighters like Subhash Chandra Bose, Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, Bhagat Singh and Chhatrapati Shivaji and the actors are seen in the traditional attires of the respective state as they introduce the freedom fighters.
The original Telugu song, Etthara Jenda is an M. M. Keeravaani musical and is sung by Vishal Mishra, Prudhvi Chandra, MM Keeravaani, Sahithi Chaganti, Harika Narayan. The lyrics are by 'Saraswathiputhra' Ramajogayya Sastry.
The Hindi song, Sholay is sung by Vishal Mishra, Benny Dayal, Sahithi Chaganti, Harika Narayan. The lyrics are by Riya Mukherjee.
Meanwhile, the film is written and directed by SS Rajamouli. Apart from Ram Charan, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt, the film also features Ajay Devgn, Olivia Morris, Samuthirakani, Alison Doody and Ray Stevenson.
The film will release on March 25 in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
