'RRR 2 with Jr. NTR & SKY': Netizens' wit & humor on display as Jr. NTR meets Indian cricketers

RRR star Jr. NTR's recent rendezvous with the Indian cricket stars has got the internet buzzing. The Indian men's cricket team arrived in Hyderabad on January 16 ahead of the first one-day international against New Zealand and much to the delight of the fans, they found themselves in the company of the Telugu superstar. Glimpses from this endearing meeting have now gone viral on social media with players taking to social media to express joy over running into the RRR actor.

Netizens, too, were pleasantly surprised to learn of this lovely meeting and many of them shared their delight in the comments section. In the same vein, some of them put their wit and cheekiness on display as they posted some hilarious responses to the pictures shared.

Jr. NTR and the current white-ball sensation Suryakumar Yadav seemed quite chummy in one another's company. The duo was joined by SKY's wife Devisha Shetty and it was all smiles when the three posed for a lovely picture.

"360 degree actor meeting 360 degree cricket player ;)" said one social media user, referring to the cricketer's batting range on the field and also Jr. NTR's range as an actor which, as it turns out, even Hollywood is now a fan of!

Another user urged the two to bust out the Naatu Naatu move and potentially create history! Naatu Naatu, as many are already aware, recently won team RRR a Golden Globe award and is most likely to be a frontrunner in the upcoming Oscars.

To top things off, another netizen reckoned that RRR 2, the sequel, should have Jr. NTR and SKY as the leads. Well, not a bad idea after all!

Indian leg spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, too, would have the opportunity to meet with Jr. NTR and fans showered love in equal measure on the picture featuring the two.

"Bhai itne dar kyu rahe ho wo apko nichodege nahi 🌚" came one hilarious comment from a user, which referred to the RRR actor's macho & strong persona as compared to Yuzi Chahal's smaller build!

In the same vein, NTR met the rising superstar of Indian cricket, Shubman Gill. Netizens were truly endeared by the meeting and expressed the same in the comments section.

The funniest one of the lot seemed to refer to Jr. NTR's skills with languages and the fact that he is able to speak multiple languages fluently.

"NTR sir be like :- Gill which language you comfortable Hindi Telugu English languages or etc... Your choice 😂🤣" said the user!

The same evening saw budding Indian men's cricket stars Ishan Kishan and Shardul Thakur, too, meet Jr. NTR and spread some cheer.
