Rohit Saraf, who is playing the brother of Hrithik Roshan in Vikram Vedha, says sharing the dance floor with the star for the song Alcoholia made him feel on cloud nine
The latest released dance number, Alcoholia, from the upcoming film Vikram Veda, is winning many hearts as it features Hrithik Roshan and Rohit Saraf together. The latter expresses his excitement about dancing with his favourite Bollywood superstar and his fanboy moments.
Vikram Vedha is the Hindi remake of the Tamil film of the same name. In the film, Hrithik Roshan plays the character of Vedha, while Saif Ali Khan plays Vikram. Rohit is playing the brother of Vedha in the film.
In the latest released song Alcoholia, Rohit is seen dancing with Hrithik. The song is composed by Vishal–Shekhar and the lyrics are written by Manoj Muntashir. The dance is choreographed by industry veteran Ganesh Hegde.
Speaking about his experience of sharing the dance floor with Hrithik, Rohit said in a statement, "This was a dream come true for every actor. I remember in Abu Dhabi, I found out that I was going to do a dance with Hrithik Roshan, and then, to top it off, it was being choreographed by Mr. Ganesh Hegde. That was insane!"
The young actor said that he remembered each day of shooting for the song. On the first day of shooting, Rohit thought that he would just go to the set, and nothing was more exciting for him than watching his favourite dancing star, Hrithik Roshan, dancing before his eyes.
He said, "Super excited I’m walking on set, and when I reach, I see the first take, and then the excitement has gone down a little bit. And then I see Take No. 2 and it goes down a little bit more."
However, he said how he chickened out when he realised that he also had to dance with Hrithik.
As Rohit mentioned, "After watching him dance, I thought there’s no way I could do this. I’m so excited that I got this opportunity."
Vikram Vedha, directed by Pushkar and Gayathri, also stars Radhika Apte, Yogita Bihani, Sharib Hashmi, and Satyadeep Mishra, and releases in the theatres on September 30.
