Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani completed one year of its release today, July 28, 2024. Upon its theatrical release, the film received positive feedback from the critics as well as audiences. Now, as the film celebrates its first anniversary today, Alia Bhatt, who played the lead in the film opposite Ranveer Singh shared unseen pictures and a video from behind-the-scenes of the film.

Alia made us all fall in love with her again with her adorable character of Rani Chatterjee in RARKPK. As the film clocked 1 year today, she shared a post with two pictures and a video. In the first picture, the actress can be seen admiring the film from behind the camera along with Ranveer Singh and Karan Johar. She also added a video which is a collage of multiple scenes as well as behind-the-scenes from the film. And last, but not least, she shared a picture with the crew of the film which looks like a wrap shot of the film.
Sharing the post, Alia wrote: “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani ki one year anniversary #1YearOfRockyRaniKiiPremKahaani.”

Today morning, filmmaker Karan Johar also took to his Instagram handle and penned an emotional note to celebrate the first anniversary of his film. He wrote, “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani turns 1 today – and I am so heppy…so heppy! I am so humbled and grateful for the huge amount of love that has come my way this past year. The film was a celebration of Hindi cinema and I’m so honoured to have had such a celebrated cast and crew on the film!!!!.”
Along with Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani also featured Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Tota Roy Chowdhury, Churni Ganguly, among others. The film was a box office success when it was released in theatres on July 28, 2023.
