Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is the highly anticipated romantic drama movie of the year. It doesn't only mark Karan Johar's comeback in the direction over half a decade, but also the first venture of Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt as an onscreen couple. Reportedly, the much-awaited teaser video featuring the first look of the film is set to be out on June 20 and the official trailer in July.

The latest report on Pinkvilla suggests that the 1 minute and 16 seconds long teaser will be out on coming Tuesday. The news portal unveils that according to a source close to the development, KJo and his team are gearing up to release Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani teaser on June 20, which will finally unveil the storyline of the movie. "It’s a proper family comedy with all members in the ensemble getting their moment to shine, and the teaser is more of an introduction to the film’s tone as also the quirky characters," the source reveals to Pinkvilla.

Last month, on May 28, the filmmaker shared a couple of new posters from the film featuring Ranveer and Alia with all the pivotal cast that unveils the family members of Rocky and Rani.

Karan took to his official Instagram handle to share the images with a special caption in a post that reads, "Meet the Randhawas & the Chatterjees - the two families of this 'kahaani'! The power of family will decide the fate of love. Come, be a part of it all & more with #RockyAurRaniKiiPremKahaani, in cinemas 28th July, 2023. #RRKPK (sic)."

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani marks an important venture in Karan's filmmaking life as the director-producer has been seen sharing multiple posts with emotional quotes about the upcoming film.

The much-awaited film also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi in pivotal roles along with Tota Roy Chowdhury, Saswata Chatterjee, Karmveer Choudhary, Arjun Bijlani, Shraddha Arya, Sriti Jha, Arjit Taneja, Churni Ganguly, Amrita Puri in supporting roles, while Sara Ali Khan will be seen in a cameo appearance.

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is scheduled to have a theatrical release on July 28, 2023.
