Alia Bhatt revealed that she was nervous about how to sing the song "Tum Kya Mile" from Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Here's how Shah Rukh Khan helped her., ,
We are all aware of the lovely friendship that exists between Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt. At events and conferences, Alia has consistently been heard praising him. Alia recently spoke about the superstar again when attending a success conference of her recently released film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, but this time, it's not something you may expect.
On Thursday, Alia admitted that she needed advice from Shah Rukh because she was anxious about how to lip sync the song "Tum Kya Mile" from Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, which became an instant hit amongst the audience. Amid the song, which is penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya and composed by Pritam, Alia can be seen dancing with Ranveer Singh amid Kashmir's breathtaking snow-capped mountains. The song from the Karan Johar-directed movie was marketed as an homage to the classic love songs shot by Yash Chopra.
Alia revealed, “I was going back to shoot after a couple of months. First time I was doing a full lip-sync song after Ishq Wala Love. There was nervousness in me. I was discussing with Karan and he said, ‘Why don’t you call Shah Rukh up, maybe he will give you some tips.’ So I called him up to talk on the phone. I just wanted to understand because nobody lip-syncs like him."
The Highway actress added, “He said, ‘Tu ghar aaja. Suhana also was wanting to learn this toh dono ki saath mein tution kareinge. Tu gaana leke aaja. I went and I was there for 2-3 hours.”
“There’s this whole lip sync portion which Shreya Ghoshal has sung beautifully, it was quite fast and I was getting quite hyper. But the way Shah Rukh Khan broke it down. He made me download some app. He said, ‘Baar baar karo.’ He had also learnt the song by the end of it. It just shows how generous and large-hearted man he is. He is so wonderful, always willing to help,” she added.
Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, released last Friday to positive reviews. The movie is anticipated to earn more than Rs 100 crore by this weekend. The film, which also features seasoned actors Jaya Bachchan, Shabna Azmi, and Dharmendra, is written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan, and Sumit Roy. It is directed by Karan Johar.
