Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, the lead pair of Karan Johar's upcoming directorial Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, visited Kanpur on Friday to promote their film. The actors interacted with the media and the fans and shared their excitement about the film.

Alia and Ranveer looked stunning in their outfits as they posed for the cameras. Alia wore a green ombre saree with floral lace borders and a velvet blouse with a cut-out back. She accessorised her look with silver jhumkis, a ring and high heels. Ranveer, on the other hand, wore an all black outfit with black shoes and sunglasses.

The actors also danced to the songs of their film, Tum Kya Mile and What Jhumka, and entertained the crowd.

Earlier, both the actors talked about working with Karan Johar and the veteran actors like Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi, who play their grandparents in the film.

Alia said that she was honoured to work with such legends and that she learned a lot from them. She also said that she loved working with Ranveer again after Gully Boy and that they share a great chemistry. Ranveer said that he was thrilled to be in Karan Johar's film as he is one of the eminent filmmakers of the country. He also praised Alia for her talent and beauty.

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is a heartwarming family drama that revolves around the love story of Rocky and Rani, who belong to different backgrounds and cultures. The film also features Bangla actors Churni Ganguly and Tota Roy Chowdhury as Rani's parents. The film is slated to release on July 28, 2023.
