SonyLIV is celebrating Dr Homi J. Bhabha’s 112th birth anniversary today. The makers of the upcoming show titled Rocket Boys just dropped a special video. The biographical series stars Jim Sarbh in the titular character.
The latest video glimpses a few serious and crucial scenes from the forthcoming venture. It begins with an intensely emotional clip where Sarbh as Bhabha asks one of his friends that from where his tie and shoes are from. The latter replies that the shoes are Italian. The former then says, “You watch must be Swiss. And not only these luxury items but this table, the rug, my tie, my jacket and my belt, I bet my belt is also imported.” When his mate asks him that what is his point, the actor replies, “From a cycle to a sewing machine, everything is from a foreign country. We don’t manufacture anything in India. And I want to change it.”
Later, the actor can be seen proposing the idea of an institute of fundamental research dedicated to nuclear research in all of Asia, which focuses on the fundamental study of atomic energy. In the end, he says, “ Everything is impossible until it isn’t.”
