The top three finalist buddy pairs included Yukti Arora – Jaswanth Bopanna and Kevin Almasifar-Moose Jattana.
Roadies 18 has officially wrapped up another daring, daunting new season. Nandini and Ashish Bhatia were declared the winners of the new season, hosted by Sonu Sood.
As winners, the duo won a cash prize worth Rs 10 lakhs and an array of gift hampers as well. After their win, Ashish spoke of how the game was about being true to oneself, and said that he had played it with all of his heart and had learnt a lot from the series. Expressing her excitement at being crowned the winner, Nandini spoke of how she could not wait to share the joy with her parents and added that they would be proud of her as well.
In addition to Nandini and Ashish, the final three buddy pairs also included Yukti Arora – Jaswanth Bopanna and Kevin Almasifar-Moose Jattana. While Yukti and Jaswanth came second, Kevin and Moose were announced as the second runners up. Yukti and Jaswanth also spoke of how elated they were to see Ashish and Nandini lift the Roadies trophy this season.
The latest season of Roadies started off with 20 contestants. The new season’s format introduced the concept of buddy pairs, where contestants from previous seasons of the show would be paired with new faces. The latest season saw 10 former Roadies contestants being paired with 10 new faces. Ashish had been a contestant on Roadies before, but had exited the show in the quarter-finals. He had also taken part in the reality show, Splitsvilla as well.
The 18th season of the show, titled Roadies - Journey In South Africa, had started filming back in April. The show saw Sonu Sood host the series for the first time. Rannvijay Singha had hosted the show’s previous season. Bani J, Gaelyn Mendonca and Cyrus Sahukar have also hosted the show, with Bani having been a contestant on the show as well.
