After 20 years, internet users have recently revived memes of actor Riyaz Khan as Dubai Jose from Jalolsavam, catapulting him back into the spotlight. Along with his famous line, "Adichu Keri Vaa," online trolls using the hashtag Dubai Jose are already trending on a number of social media platforms. Additionally, some have claimed that he possesses more style and charisma than Mammootty's character Turbo Jose from his most recent movie, Turbo.
Riyaz Khan has also enthusiastically accepted the trend. He recently posted the "Adichu Keri Vaa" dialogue on the poster for his forthcoming film, Happy New Year, which has been receiving a lot of attention online. The actor added in an interview with Manorama News that Sibi Malayil, who directed Jalolsavam, deserves all the credit for this new trend. He went on to say that one of his favourite characters from his career is Dubai Jose.
Many people have shown their admiration for Dubai Jose and his style on social media. The majority of them have posted his scenes from the 2004 movie and commented that his words are actually a true source of motivation.

A few of them have also talked about going back to Jalolsavam to rewatch the character on Sun NXT. Some of them are also encouraging others to do the same. On Twitter, a user posted, "Even a depressed person gets motivated by his words."
The main actors in the film are Kunchacko Boban, Navya Nair, and Nedumudi Venu, and it is set against the backdrop of the scenic Kuttanad. Chandran, the son of Alakkal Govindan, works as a pharmaceutical salesman and develops feelings for Geeta, a hardworking orphan. Local politician and activist Ponnappan attempts to arrange Geeta's marriage to Dubai Jose. In addition to making sure Geetha does not wind up marrying the evil Jose, Chandran has to make sure his father's reputation is not tarnished by the unforeseen debts.
