Ritwick Chakraborty raised a concern related to Kolkata Police on social media on Wednesday. The post created a buzz and many people agreed with the actor.

Ritwick shared the screenshots of some messages sent by Kolkata Police notifying him about the traffic fine and the amount of the penalty. Riwick wrote, “I observed a pattern. Please note how Kol-Pol arranged a stupid chandabaji (Extortion or something else?) to give 10 to 12 cases per month.”

He then went on to write, “Two SMS per month. In the first, there is a notice of two traffic violations. In the second that happened two or three days later, there was a notice of eight traffic violations. So, eight to nine violations in two days?”

He further wrote, “It was silent for one or two months after that. Then it happened again. In the gap, maybe it was happening with others. I find it a shameless plan to rob the taxpayers. Yesterday, the notice of two traffic violations came. I will let you know after the next one comes. There will be a track, even if the pattern changes. What is your experience?”

Netizens supported Ritwick. One person wrote, “Many people are working from home nowadays. I am also doing the same and my car is in the garage. Still, it got a traffic violation case at that time.” Another one wrote, “I wrote a review on their page about their nice system of giving cases. They blocked me after that.”

Another profile commented, “I was in Mumbai for 21 days and at that time my bike got three cases. No one in my home can ride a bike and the key was with me. From then on, I never pay for any case.”
