Ritupatno Ghosh was and will forever be on the list of Bengal’s favorite directors. He had an untimely death, but his television show is returning once again. Star Jalsha has brought back his chat show Ghosh & Company. People will once again see Rituparno’s chat with the celebrities. The videos will be shown on Star Jalsha’s Facebook page and YouTube channel.

A glimpse of Rituparno’s chat with Sourav Ganguly and Dona Ganguly came out. Rituparno was seen enquiring about the Ganguly family. He asked what Sourav’s and Dona’s common interests were. Sourav jokingly said, “Nothing.” Rituparno then wondered, “Then why are you together?” Sourav replied, “Because we have to.”

Sourav then said he did not go to Dona’s dance performances. Rituparno thought that Sourav did not go because of the risk of getting mobbed. But Sourav cleared the doubt. He said, “I am alone at my place at that time. I have choices…Just think.”

Does she perform in front of Sourav? Dona rolled out of laughter and said, “I dance because he doesn’t watch. Otherwise, it is an insult to dance. He comes during practice and asks how much more time will be needed.”

However, the couple said that they loved going to the movies. They went to the halls in the night shows. None of them liked watching movies in the house. They wanted coffee and popcorn while watching the cinema.

“Cinema is relaxing to me. It diverts my mind. A lot of things happen there–plays, performances, future. I can get out of them.” Sourav explained the reasons behind his love of films.

Rituparno breathed his last on May 30, 2013. He left a bag of his films which introduced many actors to the people. There was a time when the commercial Bengali films were making huge losses. Rituparno brought back the audience to the theaters at that time with his intense heart-touching films.
